I trade XAUUSD during the New York session using liquidity-based price action and session structure.
- Clear BOS on lower timeframe
- Deep retracement into IFVG or Order Block
- Zone reaction / hold
- Liquidity alignment with London highs/lows
- NY session volatility confirmation
- Maximum 2 trades per day
- Only NY session focus
- Minimum 1:3 target
- No revenge trading
- No trade is also a position
I started trading in April 2024.
Like most traders, I began with crypto trading on Binance before moving into forex, Indian markets, and multiple currency pairs searching for consistency.
I tried paid signals, random strategies, and market hopping like everyone else. None of it worked long term.
Over time one market completely took over my focus: Gold.
For more than 1.5 years I’ve been deeply focused on XAUUSD and how it behaves across sessions, especially around liquidity sweeps, London highs and lows, and NY volatility expansion.
I originally traded only London session, but eventually shifted almost entirely to New York session execution because the volatility and movement suited my trading model better.
I’ve blown more than 20 prop firm accounts learning discipline, psychology, and risk management the hard way.
My first major breakthrough came through futures trading with FundingTicks, where I generated roughly $7,000+ in payouts across multiple firms.
Even after payouts, psychology remained the biggest challenge. The technical edge was there, but emotional execution was inconsistent.
Today I continue refining execution, studying liquidity behavior, and building consistency through disciplined NY session trading focused entirely on gold.
